  • Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) and Cobalt Report Template (CRT) – Telamon requires suppliers to complete the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template and the Cobalt Report Template annually. In compliance with requirements of its customers and the OEMs that Telamon supports, Telamon requires its suppliers to report if their products contain metals derived from certain minerals defined as “Conflict Minerals” as defined by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. For this reason, suppliers shall conduct due diligence of their supply chains to determine if any of the products supplied to Telamon contain Conflict Minerals. Telamon uses the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) and Cobalt Report Template (CRT) located at: https://www.responsiblemineralsinitiative.org. Telamon requires suppliers to complete the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template and the Cobalt Report Template annually. Instructions to complete the reporting templates are located on the Responsible Minerals Initiative website.
  • Packaging and Identification (Label) Requirements – This defines the packaging and identification label requirements for Telamon suppliers. Although suppliers are responsible for designing their own packaging, Telamon has very specific label requirements that follow automotive industry specs. Telamon reserves the right to assist in developing acceptable or specific packaging in certain circumstances.
  • Quality Plus Manual, Addendum to IATF 16949 – Telamon suppliers are expected to meet the requirements IATF16949: 2016 (of ISO-9000: 2015) and the requirements stated herein. These requirements are in addition to, and do not replace or supersede any of the purchase order, engineering drawing, or specification requirements, or relieve the supplier of exercising independent expertise and skill in providing products and services to Telamon.
  • Supplier Request for Engineering Approval (SREA) – An SREA is to be completed and submitted to Telamon Quality and/or Procurement for any changes made to a previously PPAP approved component. The changes may include, but are not limited to, a new component revision, new or modified tooling, a manufacturing process change impacting the component or a new or additional manufacturing location. The change cannot be made prior to receiving a Telamon approved SREA and the changed component cannot be shipped without a Telamon approved PPAP.
