Telamon Corporation, the largest private minority-owned company in Indiana that specializes in solutions for telecommunication networks, business process outsourcing, & industrial assembly, is excited to announce the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors. Joining the Board are Clay Barnes and Mike Smith.
Clay Barnes is currently the President & CEO of MPI Corporation, a holding company based in Indianapolis. Prior to joining MPI, Clay was President & CEO of Blocksom & Co. after spending the early part of his career working for Fortune 500 companies Baxter Healthcare Corporation and FMC Corporation. Clay is a graduate of Northwestern University and also sits on the Board of Indiana Manufacturers Association and The Alliance.
Mike Smith served as Executive Vice President and CFO of Anthem and its subsidiaries, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield until his retirement in January 2005. Prior to joining Anthem, Mike was Chairman, President, and CEO of Mayflower Group. Mike is a graduate of DePauw University and serves on various boards including Chairman of the Board of Eskenazi Health Foundation, Board of Trustees of DePauw University, and Board member of Lumina Foundation, Riley Children’s Foundation, Envision Healthcare Holding, Vectren Corporation, Carestream Health Services, USI, Hulman & Company, and Go Health.
