Telamon Corporation’s Industrial Solutions (TIS) division, which provides robust manufacturing services to automotive and industrial-related customers who require competitive pricing, ultra-high quality, and just in time delivery, is excited to announce that it has certified its first manufacturing cell in visual factory at its Fresnillo (Zacatecas), Mexico facility. This achievement is the foundation of Telamon’s lean system in driving process excellence.
“A visual factory is a core necessity for reducing waste within operations. Our certification process is the first step that each work cell at Telamon will undertake as we progress into our lean journey,” said Wayne Claridge – President of TIS. “Achieving this certification sets us apart from our competitors, and we are looking forward to continuous innovation within our lean system.”
In order to achieve this certification, members of the TIS wire harness assembly team were required to pass a written and verbal knowledge test and show evidence of 30 days of continuous passing scores on 3-S (workplace organization) audits.
